THIGH LIFTING
Thigh lift surgery is recommended when inner thigh skin appears too relaxed either for constitutional reasons or as a result of significant weight loss.
In less severe cases the surgeon usually proposes a micro-surface liposuction, which allows the removal of excess fat as well as overlying skin retraction.
When excess skin is particularly abundant, the only solution is the removal of excess skin through two incisions at the inguinal folds.
Surgical procedure
Thigh lift surgery is performed under general anesthesia requires a one-day hospital staying.
After surgery
After surgery, the patient will wear an elastic garment for one week, at the end of which all stitches are removed.
The intervention is not painful; yet, it involves some discomfort for a few days, because of the placement of sutures that limit normal social habits for about a week.
